Course Outline

 - To use research skills to find out about Julius Caesar
 - The Roman Empire by AD42 and the power of its army Construct informed responses that involve thoughtful selection and organisation of relevant historical information
 - To use research skills to find out what a Roman Soldier wore and why.
 - To establish a chronological understanding of the Roman Invasion of Britain
 - To understand the size and structure of Hadrian’s Wall as it was when it was first built.
 - To look at the events of 'Boudicca's Rebellion' from different perspectives.

The final grade for the course will be calculated based on:
Multiple forms of assessments, both formal and informal, will be used to gain knowledge about a student’s level of understanding. Assessments will be in the form of End of Unit Evaluations, End of Unit Project, Formal Assessment. All formal test dates will be posted on the communicator.
