I began my professional career at the university level before joining Wesgreen as an Art Teacher in 2004. Prior to embracing my current post in 2013, I served in several headship roles, including leading the Boys’ Secondary in 2010. I am a strong proponent of the school’s mission and values advocating each student’s academic success and wellbeing, commitment to diversity, and respecting the cultural values of the UAE.
Guided by the GEMS Core Values, I use my repertoire in pedagogy and educational leadership to help individuals succeed in their academic and professional endeavours. I hold a PGCEi and an MA in Education from the University of Nottingham and have led the Council of International Schools Accreditation process since 2011. I am currently completing a blended Doctorate Programme in the State of Minnesota, which is enhancing the educational programme at Wesgreen.
