After becoming a successful Headteacher in the UK, my wife and I came out to the UAE in 2012, and I joined GEMS Wellington International School as Vice Principal. After three outstanding KHDA inspections, I became the Founding Principal of GEMS Wellington School in Qatar, and also guided the GEMS American Academy as Country Director.
I have spent the last two years leading the GEMS Al Barsha National School for Boys, with an 80% local population. The work we did with the Emirati community, led us to achieve the greatest improvement in Parent Feedback ratings seen in a GEMS School. I aim to ensure our students reach their academic potential, but equally important to me is to ensure we work with you, so your sons and daughters become thoughtful and caring members of the local and global community. I am a graduate in Natural Sciences and hold an MA in International School Improvement.
